Update 7/10/08

We have been working diligently to provide an event that is enjoyable to all. The rain quit Tuesday night and is expected to stay away through Sunday afternoon (50% scattered).
Both days will have bypasses and early-outs to accomodate all. We have picked our way through some of the National Enduro sections in order to provide you a fun weekend and to preserve some of the trails for the enduro.

Both days are still 90+ miles with  nearly half trail, most of which is private property and used by NSER solely.

The landowners and the recipients of our donations have been invited to Saturday's dinner and will be housed in a tent provided by Sport Cycles of Athens and Lancaster. WE hope that they come and you get a chance to thank them firsthand!

Course Update 6/23/08:

Both days will feature sections that will be used as test sections in our National Enduro in August. We have been cutting new trail and you should find some of the best trails Ohio has to offer and they are used only by NSER for our events.

Day 1 will use the last two sections of the enduro. Between 20 miles and 40 miles you will only ride approximately 1 mile of road - if you elect ot ride everything. This includes the last section of Day 1 from last year in which the rains came and many did not enter it and several that did left their bikes for our sweep riders. We put it early so everyone can enjoy it this year.

Day 2 begins with the first section of our Enduro and you will have about a 10 mile section to start the day.
You will also ride 3 other National Enduro sections today. We will return to the "Moto track in the woods". This is a well groomed, 2.5 mile, natural terrain track which has been a favorite of past events and the owners love it if you do another lap.

In its fourth year, the Black Diamonds will continue to provide you some of the best private trails in the area. Landowners have been impressed with our organization and the appreciation and respect shown by the riders so expect to see some more new stuff this year.
Most of the proceeds from this event are donated to local Volunteer Fire Departments, schools and youth groups. Expect great trails, accomodating locals and excellent food.
This year we will be sure to arrow by-passes and provide early outs in an effort to accomodate everyone's ability, energy level or desire.
